Current Self-Pay Rates

The following rates reflect our current private-pay fees:

  • Initial Intake Assessment (60 min): $200

  • Individual Therapy Session (55 min): $180

  • Individual Therapy Session (45 min): $135

  • Individual Therapy Session (30 min): $110

  • Conjoint / Couples Therapy Session (50 min): $150

Because the frequency and duration of therapy can vary greatly for each client, your Good Faith Estimate will reflect the services reasonably anticipated based on individual needs, treatment plan, and clinical recommendations.

Important Things to Know About Your Estimate

  • A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to receive any services

  • Receiving an estimate does not establish a therapist-client relationship

  • Your actual costs may be lower than estimated depending on your treatment progress and scheduling

  • If your final bill is $400 or more higher than the amount stated in your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute that charge through the federal Patient-Provider Dispute Resolution Process

To learn more about the dispute resolution process, visit cms.gov/medical-bill-rights.

Before Your First Appointment

We encourage every prospective client to take the following steps before scheduling self-pay services:

  • Contact your insurance company to fully understand your benefits, deductible status, and expected copay or coinsurance for outpatient mental health services

  • Ask our team about current fees, payment options, and accepted insurance plans

  • Request a written Good Faith Estimate in advance if you will not be using insurance

The No Surprises Act & What It Means for You

The No Surprises Act is a federal law designed to protect patients from unexpected medical bills. It requires healthcare providers to give uninsured clients and those who choose not to use insurance a written estimate of expected costs of their services.

Insurance We Accept

Campbell Therapy currently contracts with the following insurance carriers. However, due to the nuanced nature of insurance credentialing, not every provider is in-network with all insurance plans.

  • Aetna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

  • Blue Care Network (BCN)

  • McLaren Health Plan

  • Priority Health

  • United Healthcare (UHC)

  • Michigan Medicaid & several MI Medicaid HMOs

Coverage, copays, deductibles & plan limitations vary. You are responsible for contacting your insurance company directly to confirm your benefits, eligibility, and any out-of-pocket costs before your first appointment. Campbell Therapy will assist where we can as a courtesy, but we are not able to guarantee coverage or benefits on your behalf.

Self-Pay Services

Self-pay services are available if you do not have insurance, choose not to use your insurance, or are seeking services your plan does not cover. All self-pay rates are listed below.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, if you are uninsured or elect to not use insurance, you have the right to request and receive a written Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs before services begin.

YOU HAVE RIGHTS AS A CLIENT

No Surprises Act

Campbell Therapy agrees — clients should have a transparent understanding of the fees associated with their healthcare. Billing should be straightforward, no surpises. This page explains your rights under federal law, how we handle insurance, and what to expect regarding costs before your first appointment.
